hola! (hello!) this is alex (the fundraiser) sharing my ideas for different ways to raise money for the upcoming dallas stimulation
all of these are first draft ideas, this is your club, not mine, so if you utterly detest all of these ideas, we can think of some new ones, any way, here we go
- before we get to deep into anything i think it would be good thing to know if there is any kind of food packaging rules. i think it would be bad if we were shut down/fined by the health department
- it might be cool to sell crystal light and water bottles, we could get all of that at sam's for very very cheap
- school supplies would be a pretty cool thing to sell, i think it makes sense selling school stuff, in a school
-i know a lot of kids don't eat breakfast so we could have some kind of breakfast deal
- and as we are so rapidly coming up on the winter season we could have some kind of secret santa deal were you purchase a card, write on it, and we could deliver it to the correct GSG the cards could also have candy canes and make them look really sweet
again, you make think that these are the worst fundraising ideas in the world and if so we can think of some more or modify these so they better serve our club in the way we need them to. i'm really sorry i can't be at MUN today, if you have any questions please fill my inbox ruthlessly at alexlonghorn@sbcglobal.net i'd love to hear your imput

Hey,it's Anna from MUN. I think we should do one of those, or something similier. With the Crystal Lite and water bottles, maybe not the waterbottles. They get heavy. I also know people from elementry school that love it by itself. Think about it.
Now we can take over the world with crazy jingles and a bulletproof marketing campaign!!!

How about a bake sale?
i think we could bake cupcakes or pies and sell them to people.
We could sell cakes(my mom makes good cakes).
Maybe we could sale candy or a garage sale.
lots of people luv cookies maybe we could sell that
i dont think a bake sale is a good idea because unless we have very good bakers in this class or we buy bakery items and then resell them, then the people wont buy them because the amount of money we would possibly make depends on how many people like the taste of the food. better to go with something that cant really be changed all that much and that is widely liked throughout the city.
oh and not everyone likes the crystal lite stuff so u moght want to choose something else if we are going to do something like that
I think we should sell Lanier Purple Pup dishes.
Okay, this time I actually have an idea. We survey kids at the snack shack to see which candy they like the most. Then, we take the most popular items, and reduce the price so they're less then the snackshack! It's a blatant ripoff, but less of a blatant ripoff than the snackshack, thus we get THEIR traffic!!! The psychological effects are astounding!

Thanks for all of your ideas. I'm not sure if we are allowed to sell cookies and pies though. I love the auction idea. Patrick, what to you think we could sell? I was like the idea of a carwash, how many people are willing to give up a Saturday? Gift bags are an awesome idea! I think it would be cool if we had little novelty items and the sender could chose three or some magic number like that. Crystal light seems to be on the edge, we can think more about that in another meeting. What are purple pup dishes? Good times all around.

umm do we still need to raise more money, even after the candy canes and if we do need ideas we could focus on the upcoming holiday, valentines day. we could do something like the candy canes even though doesnt a different group already sell carnations and boxes of those nasty candy hearts??
